On Tuesday, Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez came to The Ned NoMad MTV VMAs afterparty in New York City looking stunning.
The 33-year-old hitmaker from Bad Blood dominated the presentation, taking home nine of the eleven awards in which she was nominated.
She enhanced her height with silver platform heels and put on an extremely slender show in a blue denim corset minidress.
Taylor wore her usual red lipstick for the occasion and accessorised with a matching purse.
Selena, meanwhile, showed off her curves in a purple satin minidress with a corset and a black pointed stiletto. Her dark hair was arranged in a poker straight manner, and she paired it with delicate gold jewellery.
As Saweetie arrived at the afterparty, she was almost bursting out of her blue corset little dress.
During the star-studded event, Taylor and Selena had several adorable moments of camaraderie, including a long embrace.
Both Swift and Gomez received applause from the audience as they accepted their awards: Gomez for Best Afrobeats Video for her “Calm Down” duet with Rema, and Swift for her four-win performance in Anti-Hero.
At the yearly event hosted at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, Taylor took home awards in nine of the eleven categories in which she was nominated, including Artist of the Year.
The singer-songwriter received six accolades for the video and tune from Anti-Hero, as well as Album of the Year for Midnights and Show of the Summer.
Video of the Year, Best Pop, Best Direction, Best Cinematography, Best Visual Effects, and Song of the Year were among them.
“I love making pop music, I love making pop music videos, and I also love making country,” Swift said to the audience as she won the Best Pop award for Anti-Hero.
“I love to slink around different genres, and I can only do that because you, the fans, gave me the chance to do this,” the artist said.
