After six months of marriage, Kardashian and Travis now own their first home together.
The founder of Poosh said that Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker have not yet started living together, even though they have been married for more than six months. Recent property records, on the other hand, show that this strange situation has changed, as the newlyweds have jointly invested in their first home together. Us Weekly was the first to report on the big property purchase.
Their choice is none other than Conan O’Brien’s lovely beach house in Carpinteria, a cute coastal town close to Santa Barbara and Montecito. A lot of people were interested in the house when it suddenly went on the market in the summer.
The price that Kardashian and Barker paid for their new home was $14.5 million, which was a big drop from O’Brien’s original asking price of $16.5 million. That being said, this price is a lot more than the $7.9 million that the experienced TV host paid for the house seven years ago.
When O’Brien bought the house, it was extensively remodeled, changing it “down to the studs,” as the saying goes. The beachfront cottage from the 1950s has about 1,000 square feet of living space, with two cozy bedrooms, a single bathroom, and a lower level with a bonus room, lots of storage, and a carport that is attached.
The combination living and dining area, complete with a metallic fireplace and unobstructed views of the ocean, is serviced by a kitchen adorned with granite countertops and top-tier stainless steel appliances.
