LeBron James did not participate in the Los Angeles Lakers vs. Sacramento Kings game but showed his support from the sidecourt. LeBron rocked a white t-shirt featuring NFL stars going at it.
A picture of the same outfit was posted on Instagram by the Lakers, and James reshared the post on his story. He captioned the snapshot with “Prime Time SZN” along with a crown emoji showing his support for Coach Prime, Deion Sanders, and the Buffaloes.
Despite not having LeBron James or Anthony Davis, D’Angelo Russell guided the Lakers to a convincing victory in the game. The Lakers defeated the Sacramento Kings 109-101 to win their second preseason game despite using primarily bench players.
More than ever, the Lakers sought to lessen James’ workload, which included keeping him out of at least a few preseason games. He had stated that this year he intended to participate in at least half of their six preseason contests.

The idea was for the other players to keep developing the appropriate habits. As LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and Jarred Vanderbilt sat next to each other without the Lakers Jersey, Austin Reaves, and Cam Reddish were also not playing and sat close.
It was now time for D’Angelo Russell. The Lakers point guard contributed 21 points and eight assists to the team’s 109-101 victory. D-Lo played in the second half of this preseason game for the first time.
Rui Hachimura continued to be impressive too, scoring 13 points on 50% shooting, while Gabe Vincent, the Lakers’ newest acquisition, dazzled with 18 points on 4-8 shooting from beyond the arc. Russell maintained his impressive performance during the preseason, scoring 21 points in only 21 minutes on an eight-for-12 shooting and two-for-five three-point shooting performance. He also had eight assists.
Vincent scored 18 points on six of his 11 attempts and added three assists. Hachimura scored 13 points and grabbed six rebounds, while Prince contributed 13 points and played good defense. De’Aaron Fox (18 points, 5 assists) and Domantas Sabonis (10 points, 16 rebounds, 5 assists) of the Kings played admirably in the defeat.
