After winning his first Super Bowl in Miami and then signing a contract extension worth half a billion dollars, Mahomes had a fantastic year in 2020, and the news about his personal life was the cherry on top.
And now that he has secured such a massive salary, the face of the National Football League is reportedly on the hunt for a larger home that he can share with his growing family.
After signing a 10-year agreement with the Chiefs, Mahomes reportedly made an investment in land and is now prepared to build the home of his dreams. EssentiallySports reports that Mahomes is ready to build the house of his dreams.
Both a half-football field and a basketball court are on his agenda for the redesign of his backyard, which will be used by his children and his neighbors’ children.

Brittany, Mahomes’ long-time love and fitness trainer, received an engagement proposal from Mahomes in the year 2020.
It was a few minutes after he had received his Super Bowl ring during the special ceremony that took place at Arrowhead Stadium, and it was a day after her 25th birthday celebrations.
The happy couple announced their engagement on the photo-sharing app Instagram.
While they were both attending Whitehouse High School in Texas, where Mahomes was a sophomore and Matthews was a junior, they first got romantically linked. Mahomes was the older of the two students at the time.
The pair started off the new year by renewing their wedding vows in Hawaii, and they just recently shared the news that they are expecting their second child together.
Matthews was a member of the soccer squad during the time that Mahomes was playing football in high school.
Following that, she maintained her athletic career by participating in football while attending the University of Texas at Tyler. After that, she relocated to Iceland in order to pursue a career in soccer there.
After Matthews finished her season in Iceland and flew to Kansas City to be with Mahomes, the two eventually came to the conclusion that they should move in together and make Kansas City their permanent residence.
