Discover the Breathtaking $36 Million Bellevue Mansion Owned by Russell Wilson and Ciara, Complete with a Spectacular Two-Story Treehouse
Russell Wilson, a former dual-threat quarterback for the Seattle Seahawks who won the Super Bowl, and Ciara, a mononym fashion model and R&B singer, have put their blufftop Bellevue, Washington, mansion up for sale with a jaw-dropping price tag of $36 million.
The “Goodies” and “Speechless” singer, who is also a tireless entrepreneur and dedicated philanthropist, and Wilson, who was once the NFL’s highest-paid player and earned approximately $35 million per year in his final years with the Seahawks, are hoping to nearly triple their money from the sale of their two-parcel waterfront estate. Wilson was once the highest-paid player in the NFL. According to the documents, the two properties were purchased in a total of two different transactions, the first of which took place in 2015, which was the year before the couple got married, and the second of which took place in 2019, with a combined cost of $13.4 million.
According to the listings that are maintained by Carmen Gayton and Chandler Gayton of Windermere Real Estate Company, the two parcels can also be purchased independently. The lot that contains the primary residence is currently on the market for $28 million, while the lot that contains the attached garage and the sports court is currently on the market for $8 million.
The two properties combined total about 1.9 lushly landscaped acres, and they slope gently downward to an excellent 270-foot stretch of coastline on Lake Washington. The extravagantly ornamented main house was built in 2007 on a perch with a view of the water and the city below it.
In a space that is slightly larger than 11,000 square feet and is spread across three stories, there are a total of six bedrooms, five bathrooms, two powder rooms, and a dramatic circular staircase that is accented with wrought iron. In addition, there is an elevator.
.
Other features include a spacious foyer with a 20-foot ceiling, two formal dining rooms, and a black-painted library/office.
.
The large room is subdivided into two halves by a passageway that features a groin vault and fluted Corinthian columns. On one side of the home there is a big kitchen with bone-white cabinetry that has intricate carvings and is arranged around a doublewide island that is 14 feet long.
.
There are at least four beautifully carved stone fireplaces, as well as a circular dining bay off the great room with wide views over the lake toward the Seattle downtown skyline. These vintage Southeast Asian carved wood doors can be seen throughout the home.
.
The master suite is awash in various shades of purple velvet, from plum to violet to eggplant, and the bathroom is lavishly appointed with a garden tub and cedar sauna, so as to maximize the blufftop vistas.
.
But it’s the 200 square feet of custom closet space and the “Hollywood-worthy glam room” that truly amp up the suite’s decadence.
