On Tuesday night, Selena Gomez was seen arriving in New York City for a recording of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
The 29-year-old hitmaker seemed to be savoring the limelight as she approached the Ed Sullivan Theater and posed for a few pictures beside Steve Martin and Martin Short, her co-stars from Only Murders in the Building.
After its recent premiere on the Hulu streaming site, the comedy-mystery series garnered favorable reviews, with particular attention paid to the performances of its main cast members.Gomez arrived at the show’s taping dressed in a low-cut black sleeve blouse.
The Lose You to Love Me singer also wore matching high-heeled shoes and a chic leather skirt that accentuated her toned legs.
The performer’s stunning brunette hair complemented the main color of her costume perfectly as it cascaded elegantly over her shoulders and chest.
She also carried a tiny white pocketbook, which gave her otherwise very monochromatic outfit a pop of color.
While hanging out with his co-stars, Martin, 76, sported a purple-blue suit that was broken up by a multicolored tie and a gray hat.
Short, 71, wore a black suit and smiled broadly while posing for a few pictures.
The freshly launched series features three real crime aficionados who live in the same apartment building. All three of them made appearances in it.
The three begin a podcast and investigate the murder once it happens someplace in their home.
Performances by Amy Ryan and Nathan Lane are also included in the show; Tina Fey and Sting are included as special guests.
When Only Murders In The Building debuted on August 31st, critics gave it overwhelmingly good reviews.
In a recent interview with People, Gomez expressed her pleased surprise at the response to the freshly launched series.
“I freaked out when my friend sent me a picture that we got 100% on Rotten Tomatoes,” the woman wrote.
