Jerry Jones is promoting Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott as an MVP candidate.
Prescott has 1,354 yards, 12 touchdowns, and two interceptions in his last four games. The Cowboys are 3-1 throughout that time.
Dallas’ quarterback leads the NFL in passing completion rate (70.7 percent). He has 17 touchdowns, tying with four other quarterbacks for third in the league.
Prescott’s athleticism is impressive, but Jones is more struck by his work ethic and approach entering each game.
I wouldn’t sаy he’s making it look simple… But boy is he in a physical and mentаl condition, Jones remarked. “He’s shown us his hard work, time, and adjustments over the past year. We’re seeing results. It pays off to work hard and take it to practice and games.
“He’s the best I’ve seen from classroom to field, and we’re seeing the results.”
Jones added, “I certainly do [think he belongs in the conversation]” on his weekly 105.3 The Fan appearance with “Shan & RJ” on Tuesday. I think he’s played his finest games. And the best of many I’ve seen. His play and influence on those games and doing them back-to-back are what it is.
