Nascente House by Stemmer Rodrigues Arquitetura, Eldorado do Sul, Brazil
Casa Nascente, designed by Stemmer Rodrigues Arquitetura, was inspired by the family’s love of water in a condominium at Lake Guaíba in Eldorado do Sul (RS). The creation of living from its artificial creation begins with the building of an artificial lake that enhances the view of the living channel of a big artificial.
A young couple and their two children wаnted to incorporate their passions—sport and nature—into their new house. At the entrance, a stone path over the lake welcomes visitors. On the ground level, two lakes, a walking room over the social area, kitchen, and entrance reservoir, and 4 meters of blocks skidded in the hall settings such gym, collections room, office, intimate living, and guest room connect them.
The ground-floor toy library next to the balcony confirms the goal of integrating all places, including for children everyday. The architect Roberto Stemmer said the biggest problem was “to create a large house in two volumes, which simultaneously maintains the unity of the project”. The pool, edge lane, and infinity channel are bordered by the artificial lake, inviting sports. The north-level suite’s vastness is hidden by the steps to the three intimate suites.
Patinated copper cleaning with shrimp protects the upper floor and improves ventilation and lighting. This floor’s bedroom is topped by a view deck. The couple’s bicycle workshop is accessible from the modest vehicle shelter, which is sculpted by a marquee. Ebonized wood and visible coatings are used. The strongest ingredient, patinated copper, produces blue-green tones that honor the water, fitting the Casa Nascente architecture.
