Nicole Scherzinger, a former member of the Pussycat Dolls performing group, was possibly the most significant love of Lewis Hamilton’s life. This is due to the fact that, despite having a number of breakups, they frequently found themselves in each other’s arms… well, that is, until they ultimately made the decision to stop their relationship for good in the year 2015.

At the MTV European Music Awards in Munich, Germany, in 2007, the Formula One star and the pop star crossed paths. They started dating, and soon after, a romantic relationship developed between them. During the time that Lewis won his first Formula One World Championship, Nicole was observing the action from the sidelines in Brazil. Twenty months into their relationship, however, the pair experienced the first of many breakups that would follow. They blamed their blossoming jobs for the breakup, just as they had done with their previous relationships.
In 2015, when they decided to go their separate ways for good, it was also said that the reason was something related to their profession. At that time, Hamilton had already won the world championship twice, and his reign as the supreme driver in Formula One was only getting started. During an interview with Vanity Fair, Lewis discussed the recent end of his relationship.
“I learned the hard way; I learned the hard way,” he said. “I haven’t talked about it much. I’m really just super focused on work. I’ve realised that I can’t do two things or three things at once, I’ve got to focus on one.”
Following the conclusion of his relationship with Nicole, Hamilton would go on to win five driver’s championships, including one in 2020, when he tied the record of seven World Championships won by the famous Michael Schumacher. Despite the fact that the success he experienced was exceptional, Lewis acknowledged that it was the most difficult period of his personal life throughout his entire life.
“I wear my heart on my sleeve, and it is hard to hide my emotions. I’m trying my hardest to be positive but I’m going through a really, really tough time at the moment with the loss of someone really, really special in my life,” Lewis added. “My world turned upside down, but I have a job to do. I need to keep myself occupied and busy because otherwise my mind will wander and that makes the time a lot harder.”

Hamilton has been linked to a number of different ladies ever since he ended his relationship with Scherzinger. It is worth noting that none of his rumored romantic interests have resulted in another meaningful partnership.
While this was going on, Nicole was involved in a romantic relationship with Grigor Dimitrov, a Bulgarian tennis player, from 2016 to 2019. The year after that, she had a romantic involvement with the internationally renowned rugby player Thom Evans. In June of last year, the couple announced their engagement.
