Real estate agents in the Los Angeles area often use Queens megastar Nicki Minaj in their listings for lavish properties. This is mainly due to the fact that Minaj is famous in these circles for frequently renting out mansions for brief stays. Therefore, they might find it difficult to accept the fact that the Chun-Li rapper is now a legally recognized homeowner.
A large Hidden Hills residence with eight bedrooms, nine bathrooms, two powder rooms, a detached guesthouse, a cabana, a saltwater pool, and a Baja shelf was just bought by the 40-year-old mother of one for $19.5 million, according to TMZ. The total area of the property is twelve thousand square feet.
The outlet states that the main home features pocketing glass doors that lead to multiple terraces and patios. Additionally, the upper master suite has a separate balcony that overlooks the backyard. The mansion also has a vast, acre-long backyard and a built-in balcony that overlooks it.
Minaj, her spouse of four years, Kenneth “Zoo” Petty, and their two-year-old son—whose identity remains a mystery—were tenants in a home in Calabasas, renting it out for $30,000 a month before the major acquisition. Prior to that, she had rented a house in Beverly Hills from which thieves had stolen valuables valued at over $200,000. The house would be hers shortly thereafter.
Just weeks after the Anaconda rapper turned 40, news broke that she had purchased the property. Celebrating not only the purchase of her first home, but also the announcement that she is currently working on her fifth album, the star promises to return fans to the roots of her career, namely the seedy bars and underground MC-type vibes that her Barbz have come to love.
“When I’m happy, I make the best music,” Nicki recently stated in an interview. “And if I want to give my upcoming album my all, I need to rediscover what Hip Hop is all about musically.”
