The 1976 house, still referred to as “Barry’s house” by the locals, is 4,320 square feet in size and offers a stunning view of the Pacific thanks to its two stories of glass walls that open to the outside on the ocean side.
The house has five bedrooms, five bathrooms, a den, an office/media room, a self-feeding fish tank in the entry, and a separate, fully furnished guest cottage with a kitchen situated across a walled entry garden.
With an outdoor kitchen and eating area, a Jacuzzi hot tub, and a hot outdoor shower, the outside area is perfect for entertaining.
In contrast to typical Malibu beach mansions, which only offer one view of the ocean, Barry’s home extends 180 degrees along the whole length of the beach, from Point Dume to Palos Verdes, and is perched on a point set apart from its neighbors.
