Selena Gomez ventures out for supper in London, daring to wear a dress that reaches her thighs.
The celebrity recently talked about how her next album, Revival, was ultimately inspired by her decision to ignore and overcome body criticism.
Selena acknowledged that she “was getting a lot of hate for my body and “gaining weight”” in an Extra interview. “I would be lying to you if I said it didn’t kind of hurt my feelings, but I kind of channelled that into my music,” Selena said, adding that she was experiencing all of this while in Mexico.
While Selena was in Mexico working on her new album with her “favorite” producers and writers, she had the emotional experience.
When it came to writing the music, she stated, “I felt like everybody was saying so much, and I’m like, “I need to say something,” even if it has nothing to do with that.”
‘Survivors, Kill ‘Em With Kindness, Rise, it’s all geared towards me trying to be heard, and I think this is the best thing I’ve ever done in my whole career,’ Selena said, adding that she has expressed her sympathies to her friends Demi Lovato and Taylor Swift over hurtful remarks they have received online.
While promoting her next animated movie, Transylvania 2, Selena also disclosed that she had momentarily removed her Instagram account from her phone in order to avoid rude remarks.
The actress expressed her opinion that it’s harder than ever to get into people’s hearts, saying, “It really bums me out because it’s hard to ignore all that.”
“I had to remove Instagram from my phone for a week and just not use it,” the user said.Because it’s absurd, and I can’t imagine having to deal with it when I was thirteen. My sole sympathy, then, is for children along the lines of, “You can’t listen to it; you have to understand that you were made uniquely, and all that matters is that you find happiness.”
“It’s difficult to say because, well, I’ve been doing it myself,”
Selena has already made public remarks on accepting her body image on the internet.
