Tiger Woods’ Jupiter Island, Florida house made news when his ex-girlfriend Erica Harmon sued him for $30 million (about £23.4 million), saying he unjustly evicted her from their joint property.
While the case has now been dismissed, it has sparked our interest in the home, which is said to be worth £42 million (or $54 million). The golfer constructed his house in 2010, outfitting it with many opulent amenities for himself and his two children, Sam Alexis, 15, and Charlie Axel, 14, whom he shares with his ex-wife Elin Nordegren.
A large swimming pool, a cutting-edge gym, oxygen treatment rooms, a private theater, a basketball-tennis court, and, of course, a mini golf course are among the amenities.
It supposedly mirrors several courses he has played throughout the globe, with four holes spread over 3.5 acres of ground. Aerial pictures of the property reveal manicured lawns with bunkers and palm trees along the seashore. Given the location, it’s hardly surprising that the sports celebrity has two docks for boat access.
Tiger’s property has two major structures: a 6,400-square-foot building linked to a 3,300-square-foot residence by a glass-covered bridge.
Tiger doesn’t need to leave his house for his gym regimen because of all of these amenities. “I used to get up in the morning, run four miles, then go to the gym and do my lift,” he said to the Golf Channel.
“I’d then hit balls for two to three hours.” I’d go play, then return to work on my short game. I’d run four miles further, and then if somebody wanted to play basketball or tennis, I’d go play basketball or tennis. That was an everyday occurrence.”
However, after being wounded in a vehicle accident in 2021, he realized the immense size of the mansion. “I built a really nice house, but I didn’t realize how big it was until I started using crutches,” he said during a news conference.
