He now backs up Patrick Mahomes for the Kansas City Chiefs, as he did for Tom Brady. He told NFL journalist Peter King for his “Football Morning In America” column on Monday that Mahomes and the Chiefs need “alternative methods to win much as the Bucs did.

“Patrick knows every season is different and requires different strategies to win. This year, we know a punt isn’t always bad, right? We must keep winning ugly.”
He contrasted the Chiefs’ season to 2020, when the Bucs had to win tough games despite Brady and Gronkowski’s hoopla. At Week 12, Tampa Bay was 7-5 and second in the NFC South.
