In order to create a private refuge that she calls “The Promised Land,” Oprah Winfrey, a talk show star who is worth a billion dollars, remodeled her lavish estate in Montecito, California.
The opulent mansion was purchased by Oprah in the year 2001, and since then, she has acquired the properties that are adjacent to it in order to ensure her solitude. On the 70-acre estate, there is a ranch-style cottage that is 5,000 square feet in size, a tea house, a koi pond, and a variety of fruit and vegetable gardens. The mansion is designed in the Neo-Georgian style and measures 23,000 square feet.
