This weekend, Selena Gomez went on an Instagram unfriending binge.
Among those who did not make the cut is her supposed boyfriend Zayn Malik, 30, which might indicate that their purported relationship has ended.
Meanwhile, the Only Murders in the Building actress, 30, is still being followed by the Night Changes singer.
The Lose You to Love Me singer unfriended Malik’s ex-girlfriends Gigi Hadid, Bella Hadid, Dua Lipa, and Zendaya, who just returned to Los Angeles after filming a film in Paris for two months.
Since they were seen kissing in New York City in March, Gomez and Malik have been the subject of romance speculations.
‘Selena and Zayn went out in SoHo in New York City last night at approximately 10:30 p.m.,’ a source told Entertainment Tonight at the time.
‘They entered holding hands and kissed. The majority of restaurant patrons and personnel did not notice them.
‘They appeared at ease together, and it was obvious that they were on a date.’
The gifted duo was never seen again together.
Earlier this month, the Love You Like A Love Song hitmaker posted a TikTok video in which she swore she was still single.
‘I’m single!,’ she said, laughingly adding, ‘I’m just a bit high maintenance.’
The Wizards of Waverly Place star has spent the last two months in Paris filming Emilia Perez, her new feature.
‘Thank you, Paris, for becoming my home for the last two months!’ I enjoyed every minute of it. Working on this movie has drastically transformed my life.
‘I can’t wait to share more with you soon!’ ‘I love you everyone,’ she said with a series of images from her stay in Paris.
Jacques Audiard wrote and directed Emilia Perez, which is characterized as a “musical crime comedy.”
The story revolves on a Mexican cartel commander who has a sex change to become the ‘woman he’s always dreamt of becoming,’ and then goes into hiding after retiring from the dangerous business.
Karla Sofia Gascón, a Brazilian trans actress, portrays the cartel’s head. The cast also includes Zoe Saldana, Edgar Ramirez, Eduardo Alaro, and others.
She will reprise her role as Mabel Mora in the third season of Hulu’s Only Murders in the Building, which will premiere on August 8th.
