Over the weekend, musician and automotive enthusiast Rick Ross turned 47. A 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air ride and a brief bike exhibition were part of the event. No Teslas were involved.
Rick Ross’s humorous perspective on Teslas made news a few days ago. Despite loving cars, the rapper isn’t convinced on EVs due to the government.
Vintage cars and motorcycles are his passion. The rapper often flaunts his over 200 automobile collection, but not his bike collection. But worry not—he has many.
Since his 47th birthday was over the weekend, he chose to party. He shared a photo of himself riding a sidecar-equipped motorcycle. He thought the black BMW R75/6 was perfect for “date night.”
He later had additional motorcycles in his driveway, saying, “I adore dirt bikes. Old, fresh, classic.” He kept a few “legendary” Bultaco motorcycles in front of his red garage full of antique automobiles. Despite having a $1 million bespoke motorbike, the rapper has not shown it in recent recordings.
He rode a vintage automobile later that night. He gave his vehicle man, 57Freddy, a 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air last summer.
In a video showing himself enjoying the fun of his life in the classic convertible, he said they were taking over Miami in “El Chapo 57.” With a white exterior and black and red upholstery, the old-school convertible has a trunk lid painting.
The second-generation Bel Air was sold from 1955 to 1957. This convertible’s engine is unknown, however the 1957 model year introduced the 283 cu in (4.6-liter) V8.
He also shared a brief video of himself talking about electric automobiles from his Mansory-upgraded Rolls-Royce Cullinan the same weekend. In addition to his customized SUV, he will collaborate more. Black exterior, black interior, Starlight Headliner, orange accents.
But Rick Ross’ 1957 Chevy Bel Air cruise over his birthday weekend couldn’t be more on-brand.
