She recently disclosed that her relationship with Justin Bieber was’emotionally abusive.’
And Selena Gomez demonstrated that she had moved on by filming a new music video for her current hit off her new album, Rare.
On Tuesday, the 27-year-old stunned in a backless, curve-hugging metallic gold halter gown for the shoot in Los Angeles.
She accessorized the bold little dress with a pair of black suede knee-high boots.
Gomez’s hair was perfectly curled, with a faint ombre effect at the bottom.
Her locks fell down between her shoulder blades and reached her shoulders.
The singer was briefly glimpsed in profile, smiling as she walked amid the shoot’s staff members.
Selena’s latest and most personal album, Rare, was released on January 10 and garnered mainly excellent reviews, with music outlet Pitchfork describing it as a “smooth and confident pop record.”
Following the release of lead single Lose You To Love Me last autumn, the singer has produced three music videos for the album, including the title track Rare and the poppy Look At Her Now.
Selena was spotted on the set of her upcoming video after recently spoke up about the ’emotional abuse’ she endured during her years-long, on-again, off-again romance with former beau Justin Bieber.
The Wolves hitmaker made the shocking revelation when discussing the album with NPR on Sunday.
‘I do believe I was a victim of certain abuse [during the relationship],’ the former Disney star admitted.
When questioned if she was referring to ’emotional abuse,’ Gomez responded in the affirmative.
‘Yes, and I think that’s something that — as an adult, I had to figure out how to grasp it.’
‘As much as I don’t want to spend the rest of my life talking about it, I’m very glad to say that I feel the strongest I’ve ever felt and that I’ve found a way to simply go through it with as much grace as possible,’ Selena said.
