Rick Ross’ extensive car collection is gathering dust.
In an Instagram video posted on Monday, the rapper claimed to have 100 cars but no driver’s license. But he claims it’s not as crazy as it appears.
“But guess what?” said the 45-year-old, “someone just paid me $20,000 to park five of the cars in front of something for two hours just to take pictures.” If I’m going to do it, I’m going to make the most of it. “I mean, why not?”
The CEO of Maybach Music Group has a garage full of cars, including 1950s Chevrolet Bel Airs, Ferraris, Porsches, Rolls Royces, Teslas, Maybachs, and a Bentley.
And it appears that he will soon be able to get behind the wheel of one of them. In the video, the Miami rapper says he’s been filling out DMV paperwork and jokes about being hesitant to check the box volunteering to be an organ donor because he has such a “good heart.”
“Don’t let me die, just to take my good heart,” he said with a smile.
The 400-acre estate purchased from retired boxer Evander Holyfield in 2014 by the “Hustlin'” star was featured in the film “Coming 2 America” and will reportedly appear on the reboot of “MTV Cribs.”
He reportedly has a net worth of $40 million and owns multiple Wingstop chicken franchises in addition to his music industry earnings.
“Richer Than I’ve Ever Been,” his 11th studio album, is set to be released later this year.
