Following her divorce from Brad Pitt in September 2016, Angelina Jolie is supposedly seeing a “handsome, older-looking” real estate agent, according to reports published earlier this week. Other sources, however, suggest that the 42-year-old has “no interest in dating at all” and that “she is absolutely not seeing anyone.” While the actress has yet to confirm or reject the rumors, she has previously said that she does not love being single. Nonetheless, Angelina has said that her family’s well-being is her primary concern at the moment. While we wait for additional information regarding Angelina’s relationship status to emerge, consider the few things she’s said about dating since divorcing from Brad.
On not like being single: “I don’t like being single. It was not anything I want. There’s nothing pleasant about it. It’s simply difficult.”
“My focus is my children, our children… and my focus is finding this way through,” she says of dating not being a priority. We are and will always be a family. I’m dealing with trying to find a way out so that this makes us stronger and closer. It’s been a trying few months. Right now, everyone is in my room, which is unusual for me. At the present, we have two dogs, two hamsters, and two children. It’s fantastic. But most of the time, I wake up wondering who’s going to bring [the] dog out, who’s going to make the pancakes, and did anybody clean their teeth.”
“We all have our difficult times, but as a mother, you also have a responsibility first and foremost toward the children,” she says. They are in their formative years, and everything else takes a back seat.”
