‘Life is Good’ rapper Future buys $16.3 mιllιon beach villa with open bathroom
Future is having a fantastic time, as Nayvadius DeMun Wilburn might say. The rights to more than 600 tracks in his publishing library were sold by the 38-year-old Grammy Award winner and hip-hop singer/songwriter from Atlanta to investment company Influence Media Partners in September for a sum estimated to be in the “high eight figures.” Rihanna and him will work together on the music for “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.”
Real estate in the future is also excellent. According to The Real Deal, he paid $16.3 million to French insurance CEO Laurent Ouazana and his wife Pascale for an almost-new home on Miami Beach’s exclusive guard-gated Allison Island, which overlooks the coastline. The property was purchased by the Ouazanas in 2020 for $12.5 million, including an adjoining piece that was sold to developers.
The 2020 Future home is situated on a quarter-acre gated site. Palm trees around the seven-bedroom, nine-bathroom house, which has an estimated living area of 8,000 square feet and has high ceilings, glass walls, and seamless indoor-outdoor areas. Among the opulent amenities are a three-car garage, staff quarters, a separate guesthouse, an elevator, and a rooftop terrace.
Highlights include a big great room with separate living and dining areas, a modern kitchen with custom Ornare cabinets, a long eat-in island, and top-notch stainless appliances.
A wet bar with wine refrigerator, a balcony, two walk-in closets, and an opulent bathroom with two vanities, a spacious glass-enclosed shower, and a freestanding soaking tub are all features of the upstairs master suite.
An infinity-edge pool, elevated spa, kitchenette in an open-air cabana, and plenty of outdoor lounging and party areas are all features of the resort-style surroundings. A luxurious boat with a dock and 75 feet of water frontage may be moored there with plenty of room.
