On Thursday, Angelina Jolie visited her Atelier Jolie shop in New York City accompanied by her children.
The forty-eight-year-old Tomb Raider actress was seen leaving the shop with her children, Zahara, eighteen, and Pax, twenty.
For the occasion, the Hollywood starlet dressed chicly in a black coat and matching slacks.
Black sunglasses completed the ensemble on Jolie, who was previously seen going to the supermarket with her children this week.
The Academy Award winner, who is parents to two children with her ex-husband Brad Pitt, kept her brown hair flowing in a straight back.
Similar to his mother, Pax donned black pants and a blue t-shirt over his coat. Converse shoes and a black beanie finished off his ensemble.
He carried along a vintage 35mm camera to record the family excursion.
Zahara, his younger sister, stayed toasty in blue trousers and a black puffer jacket in the meanwhile.
Vivienne looked effortlessly put together in trousers and a gray hoodie.
Jolie and her 60-year-old ex-husband Brad are parents to a total of six kids.
The ex-couple, who divorced in 2016, is also the father to Maddox, 22, Shiloh, 17, and Vivienne’s twin brother, Knox, 15. They also had Pax, Zahara, and Vivienne.
They have been embroiled in a very visible and heated custody dispute since their breakup.
In July of this year, Jolie announced the opening of her shop at 57 Great Jones St. in New York City, a building that is strongly associated with two deceased art luminaries. Jolie had earlier this year established her new fashion line, Atelier Jolie.
Andy Warhol originally owned the building covered with graffiti, and Jean-Michel Basquiat lived there.
After buying the structure in 1970, Warhol leased the second story to his buddy and protégé Basquiat.
It is an honor to be in this area. We shall make every effort to maintain and appreciate its creative heritage while fostering a sense of community. In July, Angelina said on Instagram, “Hope to see you there.”
“At the exhibition King Pleasure, Jean-Michel Basquiat’s sisters Lisane Basquiat and Jeanine Heriveauxex illuminate his contribution to the history of art,” she said.
A video showing Angelina standing nearby as her store’s name was spray-painted on the structure accompanied the message.
She said back in September, when discussing her fashion company with Vogue, “I want to build a house for other people to become that, not become a big fashion designer.”
“I want to make a lot of changes in my life.” And the one looking forward is this one.
According to the source, Angelina believes that Atelier Jolie would encourage women to be “soft” and “feel safe enough,” as she has herself found it difficult to do.
“I want a woman to feel safe enough that she can be soft, but sometimes the way you dress says, “Don’t mess with me-I’ve got my armor on.” “
‘After experiencing some pain, a therapist asked if I would consider wearing a flowing garment.
It may seem absurd, but I believed that wearing boots and jeans gave off a stronger, “tougher” image of myself.
“Were I strong enough to be vulnerable? Not at that moment. I felt exposed. I wonder now if… I’m still figuring out who I am at 48, therefore I don’t know what my style is.
