As part of his efforts to improve things in Senegal, Sadio Mane built a new stadium for the people of Bambali, where he grew up.
Before his team’s training camp for the Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast, the Al-Nassr star went back home to officially open the facility.
Mane was seen playing on a Ԁirty field in Bambali a year ago. He had just left Bayern Munich after a rough season in Europe.
At the time, pictures of him at a community game went viral, and the Al-Nassr star promised to make the field better for the people in his city.
A beautiful celebration was held on social media to open the stadium in Bambali with Mane and other important people in society keeping their word.
“I stand here in front of you on this FIFA-standard football field, which means a lot to me, with great pride and joy in my heart.” This isn’t just a present for the town I love. Most of all, it’s a sign of how united, strong, and passionate we are about sports.
He is 31 years old and will be in charge of the Teranga Lions at AFCON in Ivory Coast. Their goal is to defend the prize they won in Cameroon in 2022. The Gambia, Cameroon, and Senegal are all in Group C, along with Senegal.
In the meantime, Mane is having a great season in the Saudi Pro League. He has scored 12 goals in all categories.
