Since Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs have advanced to the Super Bowl, Taylor Swift will have to make a last-minute trip from Tokyo to Las Vegas on February 11 to see her boyfriend compete for the biggest prize in football.
After the Chiefs defeated the Baltimore Ravens, who were heavily favored to win, magnificently, America’s most famous couple had an embrace and a kiss on the field at M&T Bank Stadium.
In touching moments, Kelce met his sweetie while waiting for the AFC Championship trophy to be presented, and Swift seemed on the verge of tears as the pair had a moment of celebration in front of the world. As Kelce eventually grabbed the stage and raised his voice, he was ecstatic and said, channeling the Beastie Boys, “You have to fight for your right to party!”
Swift will now focus on her four nights of the highly anticipated Eras Tour in the capital of Japan from February 7–10, before she must quickly return to Allegiant Stadium for the largest night in American sports history. However, it is anticipated that she will go to support Kelce.
During the post-game festivities, she and Travis took center stage, although the singer seemed irritated at being featured on the CBS program during the actual match. She was plainly heard screaming, “Go away, please,” as the camera lingered on her in a VIP room promoting the Grammy Awards the next weekend.
But because she will be traveling hundreds of miles to attend the game, she will have to accept it on February 11. Swift’s return to the United States from Japan is aided by the 17-hour time difference, and she will be cheering on the Chiefs for the 13th time this season—her lucky number.
Whether fortune is on Kelce and his Chiefs’ side or not, they will be hard to stop after their shocking 17-10 victory against Baltimore on Sunday. Going into the game, most people thought the Chiefs would win the Super Bowl outright, much alone the game today.
After scoring a touchdown in the first quarter, Kelce put on another incredible, career-defining performance, surpassing Jerry Rice’s NFL playoff record of 151 catches.
Swift was accompanied by Cara Delevingne in the VIP suite, where she encouraged the Chiefs to win. Jason Kelce and Travis’s parents, Donna and Ed, were also there.
After his brother scored a touchdown, Travis’s elder brother was seen giving his pals high fives in the suite, but his celebrations were very quiet in comparison to the crazy events that transpired in Buffalo the previous weekend.
The elder Kelce supported Kansas City throughout the game while donning a Chiefs beanie cap. The two brothers even enjoyed a moment on the field. Swift was seen grinning and watching the Kelce brothers laugh together on the field in this endearing photo.
Jason ordered Travis to “finish this motherf***er” as they gave one other a hug. Later on, the elder Kelce brother spoke about his own NFL future in an exclusive interview with DailyMail.Com.
Now, as the Chiefs attempt to win the Super Bowl for a second consecutive season and cap off a fairytale campaign that has seen Travis and Taylor become America’s favorite and most famous couple, they will all clear their calendars and go to Vegas in two weeks.
