As many are aware, Rick Ross’s Georgian home is almost as well-known as the musician. The 109-room home in Fayetteville was formerly owned by Evander Holyfield, the heavyweight boxing champion. Originally called Villa Vittoriosa, Ross now aptly refers to it as the Promise Land. It has also been featured on the big screen, and he has thrown extravagant pool parties there. However, the opulent home isn’t the only opulent mansion owned by the rapper “Diced Pineapples.”
When Ross first began his career in the music business, his mother wisely advised him on how to safeguard his expanding wealth. Ross, whose full nаme is William Leonard Roberts II, said in a 2021 interview with Forbes that his mother was a certified nurse who worked two or three jobs at a time and had a strong belief in the transformational potential of real estate. He said, “She would just keep buying houses,” citing her straightforward concept of “making sure you can touch something before you buy it.” Following his mother’s suggestion, the musician and music entrepreneur has acquired a number of opulent residences in the last ten years and has enjoyed furnishing them to his own unique style. We’re giving you a peek at some of Ross’s most amazing pads down below.
2008
Although he was born in Mississippi, Ross spent his childhood in Florida and released his first album Port of Miami in 2006. He relocated to Georgia before to the release of his second album, Trilla, and bought a home close to Holyfield’s renowned Fayetteville estate. Although not much is known about the rapper’s first Georgian house, Ross said that he bought it partly so he could often ride past Holyfield’s residence. “I examined every bend, every hill, and every valley on the grass. I was rolling by the geese, staring at them. I kept doing that for years until I saw the red “for sale” sign on the fence and decided to turn around,” he said to Forbes.

The rapper quickly submitted his offer for Holyfield’s substantial estate, which he eventually paid $5.8 million for. Five years later, he would spend $1 million to acquire an additional 87 acres next to the property, enhancing the already magnificent grounds he called The Promise Land. Originally constructed in 1994, the main home is 45,000 square feet in size and is renowned for having 109 rooms, 12 bedrooms, and 21 bathrooms. Its 100-person dining room and the 350,000-gallon pool in the backyard make it the perfect place to have large parties and get-togethers. In fact, every summer the big producer throws an open-air pool party and vehicle display.
Ross also made good use of the mansion’s striking white stone front, drаmаtic entryway, and extravagant opulence by agreeing to have his house used as the fictitious Zamunda Palace in Eddie Murphy’s Coming 2 America (2021), a follow-up to the 1988 smаsh Һit. And, as Ross puts it, he’s taken great delight in maintaining and furnishing the home—he sometimes even mows his own yard. He told Forbes, “I bought an enclosed tractor with air conditioning and a radio.” “…there’s a whole different level of peace and connection with the estate, the animals, the birds, and the wildlife when I get in the tractor.” According to reports, Ross has a bull, four horses, and two buffaloes. The neighbors have apparently complained to Ross about the buffaloes in particular.

A few years later, when Ross’s mother and sister were assisting him in his search for real estate in the Miami Beach region, they came upon an exquisite mansion in the resort style located in Southwest Ranches, Florida, that was for sale. The rapper said in the Forbes interview that his mother knew exactly what he liked, so when she gave him the link, it was a no-brainer. Soon later, he visited the property and informed his agent, “This is my house.” NBA All-Star Amar’e Stoudemire, a buddy of Ross, turned out to be the owner of the 2.3-acre property, which Ross paid $3.5 million in cash for. The player had owned the single-story home for almost ten years at that time. The 8,600 square foot pad has six bedrooms, seven bathrooms, two home offices, an indoor theater, a gym, and a pool with a waterfall. High ceilings throughout were a must given Stoudemire’s six-foot-ten height. It’s still owned by Ross.

Early in 2023, Ross shared on Instagram under the handle “Rodeo Rick” that he had bought property in Houston, showcasing many photos taken from the outside of his new home. The rapper showed a little portion of the property in a video tour, revealing that he spent $3.5 million for it. “To be honest, I don’t know how deep this pool go,” he remarks in the video, turning to an amazing pool. “While others was buying Dogecoin and all that, man, I was buying real estate.” In the video, Ross also flaunts his front gate, which is painted with his initials, RR (“Rep your brand,” he exclaims), before showcasing his yard’s several palm trees, which he says he imported from Miami. As he round the front of the home, he remarks, “This house go all the way around, man.” “This is so big.” Although precise information about the house is not easily accessible, snippets from Ross’s video tour show off its spotless white walls and custom artwork.
A week or so after Ross told his followers about his purchаse in Houston, word leaked out that he had paid pal and fellow rapper Meek Mill $4.2 million in cash for his Atlanta-area mansion. Before ultimately becoming tired of using a broker to sell the property, Mill allegedly tried to do so for over two years before posting about the eight bedrooms, nine and a half bathrooms home on social media. (He provided a video shot from above of the property, which was eventually demolished.) The three-story, unfurnished property still belongs to Ross; he bought it with a tennis court, media room, two-car garage, sauna, and pool.
A few months later, Ross purchased his third significant property in as many months, paying $37 million for a waterfront mansion on Miami’s guard-gated Star Island. There are just thirty homes in the A-list neighborhood, and residents include Gloria Estefan, Ken Griffin, and Jennifer Lopez. Kimberly Knausz, a worldwide real estate adviser with ONE Sotheby’s International Realty, told AD that “Star Island is the ultimate goal in Miami.” It’s quite exclusive.According to [Ross], it’s like the last piece that his real estate portfolio is lacking. It’s a significant achievement for him since he was raised in Miami. With six bedrooms and eight and a half bathrooms, the 12,374 square foot estate is equipped with luxurious facilities. The main apartment faces the bay, and there are plenty of outdoor spaces for sunny get-togethers. A 40-foot dock connects the property to the bay and the ocean beyond.
