The first location of Angelina Jolie’s fashion line, Atelier Jolie, has opened in New York. Jolie said in an interview with WSJ Magazine that the shop provides more than just clothes; it also has a café run by cooks who are immigrants and refugees and sometimes holds educational activities.
She disclosed to Vogue that Pax Thien and Zahara were engaged in the launch preparations; Pax Thien helped with the décor, and Zahara helped locate an office space in New York. It was a family endeavor.
Pax Thien, 20, was born in Ho Chi Minh City, and his biological mother left him soon after. After that, he was placed in a nearby orphanage, where he was given the Vietnamese name Pham Quang Sang. He remained there until 2007, when Jolie and her former spouse Brad Pitt adopted him.
He is now employed as a visual artist, and his works are heavily influenced by abstraction.
In 2005, Jolie, 48, began dating her ex-husband, 60-year-old Hollywood actor Brad Pitt. After Jolie filed for divorce in 2014, the couple’s 2014 marriage ended in divorce two years later.
Since then, they have been involved in a court struggle about the custody of their six children. Maddox, Knox Jolie-Pitt, Vivienne, Pax Thien, Zahara, Shiloh, and Vivienne are among the kids.
Maddox and Zahara were adopted from Ethiopian and Cambodian orphanages, respectively, together with Pax Thien. The couple’s biological children are Knox, Vivienne, and Shiloh.
In 2021, Pitt was awarded dual custody of the children, while Jolie was granted physical custody. It is said that the tug-of-war is still not entirely resolved.
