Following his recent purchase of a contemporary farmhouse-style home in the Calabasas region of Los Angeles for the price of $5.2 million, Arsenio Hall has now made the decision to put his feature-packed mansion in the Tarzana suburb of the San Fernando Valley up for sale.
Reportedly, the actor, comedian, and former talk show presenter, who is 66 years old, is looking to purchase the contemporary estate for a price that is little less than $5.3 million. It is worth noting that this sum is significantly lower than the eleven million dollars that he allegedly paid to “NCIS” actor Sean Murray for it a little more than a year ago, shortly after it was initially constructed.
The television program “The Arsenio Hall Show,” which ran from 1989 to 1994, also contributed to Arsenio Hall’s rise to recognition. In addition, his appearances in the films “Coming to America” and “Harlem Nights” also contributed to his rise to fame.
A white stucco and dark brown-trimmed structure, a huge automobile court, and a three-car garage are all on the property, which is located on a flat parcel of land that spans over a third of an acre. All of these features are concealed behind fences and gates.
The two-story living space, encompassing 6,500 square feet, boasts hardwood floors, high ceilings, designer lighting, and floor-to-ceiling Fleetwood glass sliding doors. The residence comprises six bedrooms and seven bathrooms, accessible through 12-foot-tall double entrance doors.
The formal dining room is connected to the living area, which is accentuated by a linear fireplace that is buried behind a wood accent wall. The dining room opens up to a covered terrace, which is ideal for hosting event gatherings outside.
Underneath the floating staircase that conceals the wine closet is the grand entrance entrance. The adjacent gourmet kitchen features a walk-in pantry, two massive quartz islands with cascading edges, top-of-the-line Thermador appliances, and custom cabinets that were made to order.
Other features of the property include a theater room, a multipurpose room that can act as either an office or a lounge, a spacious master bedroom located upstairs with a marble fireplace, a private balcony, two walk-in closets, and a large bathroom that includes a separate wet area, a soaking tub, and a shower.
A zero-edge pool, a Jacuzzi with a Baja ledge, a sport court, a BBQ and kitchen setup, and a fire pit are among features that can be found in the backyard, which is lined with fake grass. In addition, there are two guesthouses, one of which has been transformed into a fitness center, as well as solar panel systems and automation systems from Control4.
