Selena Gomez took a hiatus in the fall of 2018 to check herself into a mental health facility, so she hasn’t been seen on the red carpet in ten months.
But when the Fetish singer made her big comeback on Thursday, she looked stunning in a plunging black dress. Together with Sarah Michelle Gellar, Nina Dobrev, and Natalie Portman, the Wizards of Waverly Place vet was walking the red carpet at the WE Day California event in Los Angeles.
The cover girl stated, “Every year, WE Day leaves me feeling inspired and hopeful,” prior to attending the event. The younger generation is incredibly passionate and upbeat about changing the world for the better. I’m thrilled to commemorate youth’s year of social change and to reassure them that, united, we represent an unstoppable force committed to a better and brighter tomorrow.
Months after receiving the necessary support to overcome her anxiety and despair, Gomez radiated confidence as she posed confidently on the carpet.
The stunning woman, who once dated Justin Bieber, has been battling lupus as well.
The celebrity looked like a true icon with her hair up and gorgeous makeup, which featured liquid liner that was winged. The Monte Carlo celebrity also added timeless pointed black heels. She also flaunted a tiny tattoo on her foot.
Selena spoke overcoming a catastrophe in an interview with Coach’s Dream It Real podcast this week.
The singer, 26, acknowledged that Ashley Cook, Raquelle Stevens, and Courtney Lopez had been her main sources of support.
“My friends have definitely saved my life in a number of situations,” she remarked.
That’s what I mean. Because they are sincere, kind, and unconditionally loving; they also provide me wise counsel and never pass judgment.
She also like the fact that they are not like the Mean Girls’ female leads.
I think having healthy friendships is really important, and I’ve seen a lot of cattiness. I absolutely do,” she said as well.
The hitmaker from Back To You went on to say that her group ‘aren’t afraid to be honest’ with one other.
She also believes that her friends will always be “encouraging and supportive” of one another.
“I have three incredible friends who are encouraging and supportive, and we don’t hesitate to be honest with each other when one of us stumbles and falls,” the woman remarked.
“I just find that people talk about our friendship when I’m around other people or when I go somewhere with my friends, and I want girls to have that because it’s just so competitive and very catty.”
The singer of the song “I Can’t Get Enough” went on to say that although though everyone of her friends is unique and has followed a different career path, they all “love each other.”
“And all of my friends are different,” she remarked. “One works in foundations, one in social media, and one in real estate.” It’s simply amazing. Despite our differences, we all adore one another.
