On Wednesday, Selena Gomez had a great day out in New York at the popular celebrity hangout Carbone.
The 29-year-old updated a traditional white shirt style with a button-up that had a panel running the length of the front.
The star of Only Murders in the Building wore a pair of high-waisted blue jeans with her top tucked in, and she accessorized with a pair of leather boots with heels.
The hitmaker accessorized with a glittering pair of gold earrings and packed a light brown coat in case the bitterly cold winter weather proved too much to bear.
Her brunette hair was pulled back and secured in a snug bun.
Gomez is presently focused on expanding Rare Beauty, her cosmetics firm.
In a post published to her Instagram account in September 2020, the singer announced the launch of the brand.
The artist has previously disclosed that in February of that year, she was developing a cosmetics line and dedicating attention to its charitable component, the Rare Impact Fund.
She has made a notable appearance in a number of the images and advertising materials for her brand.
In a recent interview with InStyle, Gomez talked about the motivation for her collection and how her early passion in makeup led her to pursue it.
I started working in the hair and makeup chair when I was 7 years old. I was already aware of some trends at the time and how I didn’t fit in. That caused me to doubt my own beauty,” she remarked.
The singer continued by saying that she was keen to question established norms in the cosmetics industry.
“I wanted high-quality items that I can wear with confidence and comfort.” But above all, I wanted to challenge outdated notions of beauty and rewrite the story,” she remarked.
