At the launch of her co-star Steve Martin’s new biographical film, Steve! (Martin): Only Murders in the Building, Selena Gomez stole the show. Two Part Documentary.
Arriving at the Crosby Street Hotel in New York City on Friday, the 31-year-old singer/actress looked stunning in her elegant black outfit. She is scheduled to reprise her role in the Wizards of Waverly Place sequel series.
With her neat hairdo and little makeup, Selena showcased her natural beauty while channeling movie star elegance in her bow-trimmed dress.
On the red carpet, she looked radiant as she embraced comedy legend Martin, who is featured in a two-part documentary on Apple TV+ that looks back at his amazing Hollywood career.
A procession of celebrities, including Jimmy Fallon, Diane Sawyer, Finn Wittrock, and others, joined the charming couple at the screening, and they couldn’t stop laughing and doubling over.
Season 4 of Selena and Steve’s hit comedy series Only Murders in the Building is now in production, along with co-star Martin Short.
The show, which debuted in 2021, centers on three strangers—Selena, Steve, and Martin—who share a passion with real crime and reside in the same apartment complex.
They come together to investigate a murder that happens in their building and create a true-crime podcast about it.
Selena’s announcement that she would be featured in a spin-off of her well-liked Max cookery series, Selena + Chef, before her presence.
In the new television series Selena + Restaurant, the star will swap the busy settings of her home kitchen for the buzzing interiors of some of Los Angeles’ hottest eateries.
According to a press release from Max, Selena will be joined in the new series by her closest friend Raquelle Stevens “as her cooking skills are put to the test by the best in the business.”
Chefs Shirley Chung, Keith Corbin, Stephanie Izard, Andrew & Michelle Muñoz, Wolfgang Puck, Marcel Vigneron, and Stephanie Izard will train and test Selena over the course of six episodes to see how fast she can pick up the skills necessary to create a meal good enough to be on each restaurant’s menu.
The statement said, “During each episode, each chef will also highlight a charity that is meaningful to them, and all featured non-profits will receive a donation to further their cause.”
Selena made a statement before to the debut of the program, stating, “I was thrilled to step into their world after cooking with some of the best chefs for the last four years, mostly virtually from my kitchen.”
“You’ll have to see if my skills improved at all from being in person.”
On Thursday, May 2, between 7 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. ET, Selena + Restaurant will make its Food Network debut. It will also be streamed on Max.
Disney, meantime, has given the go-ahead for a Wizards of Waverly Place spinoff series, in which Selena returns to the character of Alex Russo and serves as executive producer.
She’ll be seeing her 34-year-old on-screen brother, David Henrie, again in the much awaited season. Henrie is coming back to play Justin Russo.
