When Selena Gomez showed up on the red carpet for her hosting role at the Rare Impact Fund Benefit Supporting Youth Mental Health in Los Angeles on Wednesday, all eyes were on her.
The 31-year-old singer and actress dazzled in a silver sparkling mermaid tail halter-neck gown with a gorgeous rose adornment before changing into a chic purple floral dress.
The celebrity completed the chic ensemble with similar silver rings and earrings. With a hint of shimmering bronze makeup, Selena emphasized her naturally gorgeous features while sporting her raven hair styled in a neat bob.
The actress was accompanied at the occasion by a number of pals, including her co-star Martin Short from Only Murders in the Building, her former boyfriend Taylor Lautner, and kidney donor Francia Raisa.
Selena announced the creation of the Rare Impact Fund as a demonstration of her dedication to addressing mental health concerns. She donates one percent of every sale of her Rare Beauty products to the foundation.
Gomez dazzled spectators with a playful purple minidress fashioned like a hisbiscus blossom during her second appearance on the red carpet.
She walked around the arena in silver strappy heels that accentuated her little frame.
In 2020, Gomez introduced her Rare Beauty line of cosmetics.
The brand hopes to ultimately generate $100 million to provide youngsters access to mental health services, irrespective of their financial situation.
Her 35-year-old friend Francia Raisa attended the event as well. Earlier this year, she refuted allegations of a dispute between the two, saying that there is “no beef” between them.
Raisa wore an exquisite silver gown with a similar mermaid-style bottom that clung to her hourglass shape, matching Selena’s outfit.
Keeping a few strands of her brunette hair to frame her face, Selena’s kidney donor styled her hair in a stylish updo.
Raisa refuted reports in August that she was coerced into giving the artist her kidney.
The actress gained notoriety in 2017 for her charitable donation to Gomez, who was battling organ damage from lupus.
When asked about the process during her appearance on the Good Guys Podcast, Francia said, “I just felt it in my heart, I knew I was a match.” I was expecting it to happen.
