Selena Gomez’s true friends are few in number.
Taylor Swift said to Rolling Stone this week that she is the only true friend of the beauty in Hollywood. This comes as the singer gets ready for the premiere of her upcoming Apple TV+ documentary, My Mind and Me.
“I never felt like I fit in with a cool group of celebrities,” the native Texan remarked. “Taylor Swift is really my only friend in the industry, so I remember feeling like I didn’t belong.”
The 30-year-old Gomez continued, “I felt the presence of everyone around me leading fulfilling lives.” When I got this job, I was overjoyed, but was I really? Do these material possessions bring me happiness?
She continued, saying, “I just didn’t like who I was because I didn’t know who I was.”
Taylor posted on her Instagram Stories to promote her friend’s new film, which came out on Friday.
As she gushed about Selena, the music star tweeted a tiny clip from the movie’s trailer.
@selenagomez, you have my admiration,” Taylor added. “I will love you forever.”
Selena opened up about her battles with mental health in a candid new Rolling Stone interview.
The actress disclosed that she struggled with psychosis, which resulted in a bipolar disorder diagnosis, and that she had considered suicide for a number of years.
She said, “I felt the world would be better if I wasn’t there,” to the publication, adding that she had never tried to end her life.
During her struggle with mental health, Selena disclosed that she had visited four therapy facilities.
She told the publication, “I’ll be very upfront with everyone about this: I’ve been to four treatment centers.”
It got incredibly dark and I started to feel like I had no control over my emotions, whether they were wonderful or horrible, when I was in my early twenties, according to me.
Selena would go through weeks or months of highs and lows on an emotional rollercoaster, according to Rolling Stone. Selena was also unable to pinpoint the precise cause of the feelings.
