Some of his movies show him enduring a week in solitary confinement or being buried alive, while others show him drilling 100 wells in Africa or paying an аssаssin who attempted to kιll him.
Each video has hundreds of milliоns of views, with the highest film reaching nearly half a billiоn.
Donaldson lives a wealthy lifestyle thanks to his huge popularity, owning several residences, luxury automobiles, and multiple enterprises.
One of his most expensive investments is his studio, where all the MrBeast magic takes place.
During a 2022 interview, Donaldson gave a tour of his three-house studio to fellow YouTuber MrWhoseTheBoss.
The equipment Donaldson uses to capture and edit his videos alone costs around $2.8 million.
He owns a warehouse, a refurbished church, and other homes, totaling $14.2 million.
In 2018, he purchased a $320,000 four-bedroom house outside of his hometown of Greenville, North Carolina. The property is around 3,000 square feet and features granite countertops, a breakfast bar, and a main bedroom with an ensuite bathroom.
Donaldson, on the other hand, did not stop with just one house; he purchased five nearby properties and built a cul-de-sac for his family and workers to reside in.
The residences were not offered for sale, and it is assumed they were purchased off-market.
According to an interview with Rolling Stone, Donaldson’s company employs approximately 60 full-time employees.
He intends to create three major production hubs in Greenville, with the goal of making the town “a magnet for content creators in digital media.”
Donaldson used to have a thing for expensive automobiles, owning a BMW i8 a few years ago before selling it “because I don’t like people stalking me,” he stated on X, now known as Twitter.
Along with cars, he formerly owned a $2.5 million private jet before giving it away in one of his movies.
Some of his crazier acquisitions have been for content, such as when he and his crew recreated Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory with challenges for people to compete in.
The factory, which appeared to be fashioned out of a warehouse, included numerous rooms inspired by the novel, including one with a marshmallow theme and another with a chocolate cascade..
AMAZON TV DEAL
According to Variety, Donaldson is considering turning his successful social media career into a reality competition program on Amazon’s Prime Video streaming service.
Specific information about the show, including its title, have yet to be announced, but it will most likely see Donaldson hosting a Prime Video competition in the style of his YouTube challenges.
Donaldson is no stranger to arranging large-scale events, such as a recreation of the Squid Game, in which the winner received $446,000.
According to sources close to the situation, Donaldson was reportedly offered $100 million, but the deal has yet to be legally signed.Between June 2022 and June 2023, Donaldson earned an estimated $82 million in gross earnings, more than triple that of any other digital creative.
He has also received the Streamy Award for Creator of the Year four times in a row.
