The world’s most costly car is dubbed Arcadia, after the mythical ‘Heaven on Earth’ from Greek mythology.
The identity of the customer who commissioned the automobile has not been revealed, but Rolls-Royce says the buyer is an international entrepreneur with properties all over the world.
The car manufacturer stated that the buyer desired “a serene space” and “a refuge from the complexities of their business life.”
The premium automobile brand’s designers drew inspiration from customers’ favorite places, like Singapore, Indonesia, Britain, and Vietnam.
The user will also be able to utilize an advanced 3D virtual reality (VR) headset to see the vehicle as it might appear in various locations around the world.
Rolls-Royce stated: “Coachbuild designers spent several months researching and questioning the client’s preferences in everything from clothing and furnishings to food and trip destinations.
“Other family members, including the client’s daughter, become involved in the process.
“When the final design was ready, the client’s wider family were invited to review it: all agreed that it perfectly captured the client’s aesthetic and character.”The approach revealed that the client had a significantly more modern оutlооk than they realized, characterized by lightness, the use of natural materials, and a strong need for precision.”
The Roller is powered by a massive 6.6-litre twin turbo V12 engine mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission that accelerates the beast from 0 to 60 mph in under five seconds. The software limits the speed to approximately 155 mph.
According to the business, the dashboard clock set in the wood veneer is ‘the most complicated Rolls-Royce clock face ever made’.
The Arcadia Droptail is the ‘pinnacle expression’ of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, according to the company’s new CEO, Chris Brownridge.
Mr. Brownridge continued: “This motor car is deeply connected to the client’s personality and preferences, and in capturing their character we have been empowered to make inspiring design, craft and engineering statements that show the world our ambition, and our unparalleled abilities.”
The motor follows the La Rose Noire and Droptail Amethyst. All three motors are priced at £25 million.
La Rose Noire was commissioned by the head of a major French fashion house..
