Brabham ‘fan car’

The Brabham BT456B, built by the team that Bernie personally owned from 1971 until 1987, is one of the most contentious F1 cars ever.
It had a device comparable to a high-powered vacuum cleaner that employed a big fan to increase downforce, exploiting a flaw in the sport’s regulations.
Brabham said the fan was there to cool the engine, but race officials outlawed it after Niki Lauda won the 1978 Swedish Grand Prix, with rival teams claiming the fan spewed stones from the road surface onto the cars behind..
A brace from Benz
Bernie owns a Mercedes W125 and an Auto Union C, making him one of a select handful with both.
The priceless models, both from 1937, are among the most valuable pieces in his collection.
The W125, astonishingly, remained the most powerful F1 car ever produced until the introduction of turbochargers in the 1980s, and it is still unrivaled in terms of straight-line speed.
Ferdinand Porsche designed the Auto Union, which was last seen at the 1937 Tripoli Grand Prix..
Ferrari 312
The Ferrari 312 gained famous in the 1966 film Grand Prix.According to BBC, the stunning red and white Ferrari is also a movie star.
The model had its film debut in the 1966 movie Grand Prix, when it was driven by world-weary Frenchman Jean-Pierre Sarti, played by Yves Montand.
It performed just as well on the racetrack, bringing Ludovico Scarifiotti and Mike Parkes to a Ferrari one-two at that year’s Italian Grand Prix..

The B-type, which continues Bernie’s love of successful F1 vehicles, has a long racing history.
It was built in Kent and was one-half of the first all-British car/driver combination to win a Grand Prix in over 30 years, when Tony Brooks drove it to victory in Syracuse in 1955.
However, it’s easy to see why Connaught maintains a special place in Bernie’s heart, given that he qualified for the 1958 Monaco Grand Prix in one of the brand’s cars..

The Vanwall is also precious to Bernie because it is the sister car to the one driven by his close buddy Stewart Lewis-Evans.
Lewis-Evans died from burns in a mishap at the 1958 Monaco event, which Bernie had attempted to enter.
However, the Vanwall left a legacy of success, with British racing icon Sir Stirling Moss winning two races in it that year..

As a passionate F1 collector, how could Bernie live without a car linked with the sport’s greatest driver of all time?In 2018, he paid a staggering £3.5 million to acquire the McLaren that propelled Ayrton Senna to victory in the 1993 Monaco Grand Prix.
Senna is universally adored by Formula One fans, ranking with superstars such as Michael Schumacher, Alain Prost, Lewis Hamilton, and Sebastian Vettel in the eyes of many..
