In recent years, 25-year-old Jimmy Donaldson has built a reputation for his philanthropic efforts and sensational YouTube videos. He recently bought five separate houses in the area where he grew up.
With a cumulative net worth of $54 million and over 40 billion combined views on his youtube channel with 152 million subscribers, these homes are nothing compared to Mr. Beast’s lavish life.Instead, when Donaldson isn’t staging stunts, pranks, huge cash giveaways, and most recently helping the deaf hear , he’s living like a normal American — a far cry from Hollywood glamor style.
Donaldson bought his own house when it went up for sale — and it will be his first home on the street in 2018 for about $320,000. His two-story house has four bedrooms and four bathrooms.
The kitchen has new granite counter tops, a breakfast bar, a breakfast room and a pantry. The family room has a wood-burning fireplace. On the same floor is the ensuite master suite with double vanity, bathtub and shower. The second floor has three more bedrooms, a laundry room, and a bonus room. Amenities include a screened rear porch, terrace, basketball court and separate storage area.
Donaldson then gradually began buying the rest of the houses around him for his family and employees and he paid more than usual for each house (The second property he bought there in 2020 for $263,000.) The remaining homes were not listed for sale and were purchased off the market.
In the area where the male YouTuber lives, there is only one house left that has not been bought by him. This is the house of Donaldson’s old neighbor, the reason this house has not been resold is that this family wants their children to finish their education.
“My understanding is that the remaining people have the same reason because they are the best areas in the area and they have children in school,” said Aaron Bowden, who sold his home to Donaldson. .
“The reality is I don’t know anything because I don’t put myself in their shoes, but they may change their minds when their kids graduate high school and go to college,” Bowden added. Bowden told The Post that the reason for selling the house he had lived in since 2016 was business-related.
“We negotiated back and forth and it had to be worth my time. And he wouldn’t buy it if it wasn’t worth his time,” Bowden added.Bowden explained how Donaldson informed him of his plans to move employees and families to each house.
Donaldson (Mr.Beast) gave fans a tour of his studio last July. Donaldson became the most subscribed to individual on the streaming platform in the world, surpassing vlogger PewDiePie, who held the title for nine years, in November.
