Lewis Hamilton, one of the most successful British drivers in history, is reputedly worth an astonishing £187 million.
The Formula One champion showed off his wealth by driving his $1.2 million (£1 million) Ferrari after attending Kevin Hart’s star-studded 40th birthday party at the Asian-inspired restaurant TAO in Los Angeles on Saturday evening.
Hamilton, 34, retained his unique style by wearing a monochrome varsity jacket with edgy joggers and patent boots.
The racing icon made a statement with his richness, accessorising with diamond jewellery such as stud earrings, a striking bracelet, and a collection of sparkling rings.
The Stevenage-born driver stepped out in style, wearing newly braided cornrows.
Hamilton is alleged to have purchased his LaFerrari, a hybrid supercar, in March 2015. The LaFerrari is one of Ferrari’s most prestigious cars, with only a restricted number of units produced.
Hamilton’s $1.2 million (£1 million) Ferrari was on show as he drove around the streets of Los Angeles following Hart’s birthday celebrations.
The racing star’s collection includes some of the world’s most costly vehicles, including the Pagani Zonda 760 LH, 1966 Shelby Cobra 427, and Mercedes-AMG Project One.
This latest excursion comes after Hamilton revealed that he plans to continue racing for at least another five years. He stated that he intends to compete until he is 38, the age at which seven-time World Champion Michael Schumacher first retired.
Hamilton explained: “Michael retired at the age of 38. I’m 33. “I believe I can definitely continue for another five years,” he said during an interview with David Letterman for the Netflix series My Next Guest Needs No Introduction.
He said, “I am tremendously motivated to win. What drives me, and possibly what my competitors lack, is that unwavering fire. I have this amazing chance, and it would be a shame not to continue improving, expanding, and moving forward. I’ll keep doing it as long as I enjoy it.
Hamilton posed with actress Gabrielle Union at the star-studded birthday party, while Kevin Hart celebrated in style with his wife, Eniko Parrish, at the Asian-inspired location.
The actor celebrated the milestone with his loved ones, with plenty of celebration cocktails.
