He has recently returned from a luxury holiday in St. Lucia, where he celebrated his third wedding anniversary with his wife, Eniko Hart.
On Tuesday, Kevin Hart returned to work on his upcoming feature, Fatherhood.
The 40-year-old actor was spotted on set in Boston, appearing relaxed and casually dressed as he prepped for his role as a single father. He wore medium-wash pants, a blue t-shirt, and a grey zip-up jacket to the scenes.
During a break from filming, the Jumanji star appeared to be focused on his script. When he was ready, he took part in a scene where he tried to fold a pram and appeared to have a conversation with a stranger seated on a park bench. The comedian portrays the principal character, a man who finds himself unexpectedly raising his daughter alone while dealing with bereavement.
Fatherhood is based on Matthew Logelin’s memoir Two Kisses for Maddy. The book describes Logelin’s experience as a single dad when his wife died unexpectedly the day after giving birth to their daughter.
Alfre Woodard has been hired as Hart’s mother-in-law, and the picture will also star DeWanda Wise, Lil Rel Howery, Anthony Carrigan, Melody Hurd, Paul Reiser, and Deborah Ayorinde.
Kevin Hart and Sony Pictures will produce the film, which is set to be released in theatres in April 2020. In real life, Kevin has three children: his one-year-old son, Kenzo, with his current wife, and two from his previous marriage, a 14-year-old daughter, Heaven, and an 11-year-old son, Hendrix.
Despite his decision to stand out from hosting the Oscars earlier this year, the actor has had a successful year. He voiced Snowball in The Secret Life of Pets 2, played a key role in the Fast and Furious spin-off Hobbs & Shaw, and will feature in Jumanji: The Next Level later this year.
Kevin topped Forbes’ list of the highest-paid stand-up comedians, earning an astonishing $59 million.
This April, Kevin Hart debuted a new Netflix stand-up special, Kevin Hart: Irresponsible, which addressed his two-year cheating scandal. However, he and his second wife appear to have moved on, since they recently returned from a tropical vacation to mark her 35th birthday and their third wedding anniversary.
“Celebrating love and life. “I can get used to celebrating my birthday and anniversary with you forever!” Eniko posted on Instagram.
The pair appeared to enjoy their holiday, having dinners and sipping champagne alone on the beach.
Both were active on social media, sharing numerous beach photographs and statements of love and affection, as well as charming snapshots of the seaside.
